The Dublin Statement
Scarcity and misuse of fresh water pose a serious and growing threat to sustainable development and protection of the environment. Human health and welfare, food security, industrial development and the ecosystems on which they depend, are all at risk, unless water and land resources are managed more effectively in the present decade and beyond than they have been in the past.
Global Water Crisis
Over 1 billion people don't have access to clean drinking water and millions die every year for lack of it. Water resources around the globe are threatened by climate change, misuse, and pollution. But there are solutions: by using innovative water efficiency and conservation strategies, community-scale projects, smart economics, and new technology we can provide for people's basic needs while protecting the environment.
Water Sustainability
Water is one of our most precious and valuable resources. Without a gallon a day, you will perish. Plants and animals need a reliable supply, and it is critical to growing crops and etching chips.
